African Belts & Dog Collars

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

The belts from Kenya have been sourced with the knowledge that The Maasai women and their communities will benefit from every purchase you make and help with their employment opportunities, education and their living conditions. All of the belts and dog collars are cut to order and then issued to the Maasai ladies who bead beautiful and colourful designs on them. The buckles used for collars and belts are handmade and cast out of recycled brass. They are as beautiful as the women who make them.

Welcome to Buckles & Belts

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

We are excited to be starting out on a very new venture that was needed here in Australia to fill the gap of being able to find durable and high quality belts for work and wear, as well as interesting and different.

Buckles and Belts offers a great range of belt straps, including leather, suede and cow hair that can be matched to the buckle of your choice.  We also stock colourful canvas belts that dress up any pair of jeans or shorts, and are adding to our range with Gaucho Belts made exclusively for us in Argentina as well as beautiful & colourful beaded belts made with passion by the Maasai women in Kenya.

We hope you enjoy them….
